Fleur welcomed a good Govilon team and new they were in for a hard game having drawn 2-2 at their place, However Fleur were quicker out of the traps and soon got into their passing rhythm with James and Jordan playing well beyond their years bossing the midfield putting in some big tackles and quality movement. Our first goal came when Dan released Pricey and with the defender bearing down on him and the goalkeeper coming out at him he remained calm and slotted the ball in to the bottom corner 1-0 to the Fleur.The 2nd goal came soon after with this time Pricey providing Dan who raced onto his pass before rounding the advancing keeper and passing the ball ito the empty net 2-0 the Fleur.Govilon seemed unsettled and Fleur went for the killer goal with Sherman pressing the keeper and forcing him into a mistake he then rounded him to make the score 3-0 half time. Fleur were forced into a change half time with joel suffering with shin splints and this seemed to change our game with Govilon scoring after 1 minute 3-1, Bondy, AAron ,Browny had to defend for the next half n hour and they never put a foot wrong and with the mid-field won and our forwards always a threat Fleur saw out the game. A good 3 pts taken from a decent hard working side made even harder with 5 first team players unavailable.

Next Stage for Club Development
Our club will be pushing on to the next level at the end of the season promotion or not. Plans have been put into place and the committee have been working tirelessly to achieve our plans. We aim to run the most professional club in our area and will be operating at the same level as a Welsh Premier Club. 3G PITCH NOW COMPLETE
Our new 3G pitch in Pontllanfraith is now complete.Our club at all ages have used the pitch and the feedback as been tremendous. The facility is available to all the community in the week but we have been allocated saturday mornings, saturday afternoons and sunday afternoons to play our games on . We feel this new ground will help us push on to our dream of Welsh League football . The ground meets all the criteria for Welsh league apart from a stand , which will be added in phase 2, our club is making a financial commitment to this and we feel the whole of the community will benefit .
THE BIG FREEZE
Saturdays local derby against Pentwynmawr looks in doubt as the big freeze takes hold with temperatures -8 over night. With the game almost sure to be off we will be holding a training game on our 3G pitch in pontllanfraith 1.45 ko our opposition will be announced later.
Youth set up key to Glory
The key to our clubs success over the last five years has to be put down to our youth structure. In the last five seasons we have had 16 boys gain international honours at Welsh Faw, Welsh Schoolboys, Welsh Colleges, Welsh Boys Clubs and England schoolboys. We also have boys with Cardiff city, Bristol Rovers, Hereford utd and Newport County. These players have then gone on to play for our senior team and in fact nine of our 1st team squad is made up of players from our youth teams and in our 16 man squad 11 of the players are under 20.
